Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 13-1204 to add security guards to the list of protected persons under aggravated assault law.

Defines "security guard" as any person employed by a private security guard service or proprietary company as a watchman, patrolman, bodyguard, personal protection guard, or other security guard performing security services.

Excludes regularly commissioned police officers and peace officers or railroad police from the security guard definition.

Makes it aggravated assault (class 6 felony) to commit assault on a security guard while the guard is engaged in official duties or if the assault results from execution of those duties.
