HB2835 Summary

• Establishes the international trade office study committee consisting of 3 House members (appointed by the Speaker) and 2 Senate members (appointed by the President of the Senate).

• Committee shall study the feasibility of establishing trade offices in other countries to facilitate commercial relationships, promote tourism, and strengthen bilateral relationships between those countries and Arizona.

• Committee must submit a report on its activities and recommendations for establishing trade offices to the Governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and Secretary of State by December 15, 2020.

• The study committee is automatically repealed on September 30, 2021.
