• Requires counties (boards of supervisors) to adopt the same expedited building permit standards for green building construction and remodeling.

• Defines "green building" as a building that is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout its lifecycle and complies with United States Environmental Protection Agency requirements for green buildings.

• Exempts this statute from Section 41-194.01 (Arizona's cost of living adjustment law).
