AZ HCR2024

Proposes an amendment to Arizona Constitution Article II, Section 13 to add a new subsection stating "This state shall not deny or abridge the equal protection of the laws on account of sex."

Requires voter approval through a general election ballot measure before the amendment takes effect, as provided by Arizona Constitution Article XXI.

Retains existing language prohibiting laws that grant privileges or immunities to citizens or corporations unequally, with minor technical revisions to the wording.

Secretary of State must submit the proposition to voters at the next general election following passage of the concurrent resolution.
