AZ HCR2026

Proposes repeal of Article XXX of the Arizona Constitution, which defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

Requires voter approval through a general election for the constitutional amendment to take effect.

Upon voter approval and gubernatorial proclamation, removes the current constitutional language restricting marriage definition.

Secretary of State shall place the proposition on the ballot at the next general election per Article XXI procedures.
