Acknowledges Arizona's history of hosting over 60,000 refugees since 1978 from dozens of countries with diverse religions, cultures and languages.

Highlights refugees' contributions to Arizona's economy as workers, business owners, entrepreneurs, homeowners, taxpayers and community revitalizers.

Notes that 25.4 million refugees currently exist worldwide, more than at any time since World War II, with over half being children.

Calls for continued support of national refugee resettlement efforts, noting that current policies have reduced annual admissions to 22,000 in 2018 compared to a typical average of 75,000 annually.
