AZ HCR2035

Amends Section 5-103.01, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to prohibited activities by racing commission employees and appointees.

Corrects terminology by changing "race track" to "racetrack" in the statute.

Prohibits commission employees and appointees from entering into business dealings, ventures, or contracts with racetrack owners, lessees, or permittees.

Prohibits commission employees and appointees from being employed by any racetrack or permittee, or participating as an owner-trainer, trainer, or jockey in any racing meeting in Arizona.

Directs the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election if approved by the legislature.
