AZ SB1020

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 19-123 and 19-125 regarding initiative and referendum procedures for ballot measures.

Requires the publicity pamphlet for ballot measures to include a boldfaced notice stating that statutory measures approved by voters cannot be changed in the future except by a three-fourths vote of the legislature (if the change furthers the original purpose) or by referring the change to the ballot, pursuant to Proposition 105 (1998).

Mandates that the same Proposition 105 notice be printed on official ballots immediately before the first proposed state statutory initiative measure and immediately before the first state statutory referendum measure.

Makes technical corrections to statutory language regarding pronoun usage and grammatical phrasing throughout the affected sections.
