SB 1050 Summary

• Repeals section 41-3020.07 of Arizona Revised Statutes and adds new section 41-3028.07 to Title 41, Chapter 27, Article 2.

• Establishes that the Board of Athletic Training terminates on July 1, 2028, with Title 32, Chapter 41 and the new section repealed on January 1, 2029.

• Continues the Board of Athletic Training to promote safe and professional practice of athletic training pursuant to section 41-2955, subsection B.

• Applies retroactively from and after July 1, 2020.

• Approved by the Governor on March 24, 2020.
