• Requires applicants for athletic training licensure to possess a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Department of Public Safety beginning January 1, 2021.

• Modifies license renewal procedures to require licensees to report email address changes in addition to business and home address changes within 30 days.

• Eliminates hearing officer provisions from the board of athletic training's investigative powers and adds authority to issue nondisciplinary orders requiring continuing education.

• Changes renewal notification from "application" to "reminder" format sent at least 60 days before license expiration.
