SB1074 Summary

• Requires occupational therapy license applicants and licensees to possess a valid fingerprint clearance card issued under Arizona Title 41, Chapter 12, Article 3.1, effective January 1, 2021.

• Adds the board of occupational therapy examiners to the list of agencies in fingerprint background check statutes (sections 41-619.51 and 41-1758).

• Repeals conflicting versions of sections 41-619.51 and 41-1758 that were previously amended by different 2019 legislation.

• Amends section 41-1758.01 to include section 32-3430 (occupational therapy fingerprinting requirements) in the fingerprinting division's background check authority.

• Effective December 31, 2020.
