SB1130 Summary

• Repeals section 41-3020.21 and adds section 41-3030.21 to Arizona Revised Statutes relating to the state auditor general.

• Establishes that the state auditor general position terminates on July 1, 2030.

• Repeals Title 41, Chapter 7, Articles 10.1 and 10.2 and the new section 41-3030.21 on January 1, 2031.

• Continues the state auditor general through 2030 to conduct sunset reviews of agencies, audits, special audits, postaudits of units of government, and report results pursuant to law.

• Applies retroactively from and after July 1, 2020.
