Establishes a nursing workforce preparation and shortage work group within the Department of Health Services to address Arizona's nursing shortage.

Work group membership includes representatives from Arizona Board of Regents universities, community colleges, private postsecondary institutions, health care facilities (rural, urban, skilled nursing), Indian health services, professional nursing organizations, and health care workforce research nonprofits.

Work group must review nursing education curriculum, establish a long-term plan to address workforce shortages, and prepare recommendations for curriculum changes and feasibility of a nurse residency pilot program.

Requires the work group to submit a report with recommendations by June 30, 2021 to the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, Arizona Board of Regents, and Joint Legislative Budget Committee.

Work group is automatically repealed on December 31, 2022.
