AZ SB1202

Establishes a state program to reimburse owners of single-family and multifamily residential structures up to $1,000 for installing high-voltage electrical outlets for electric vehicle charging.

Creates the Electric Vehicle Ready Homes Fund with $1,000,000 in annual appropriations from the state general fund beginning in fiscal year 2020-2021, with up to 10% of annual funds available for administrative costs.

Excludes individuals from reimbursement if they have already received funding from a utility company for installing electrical outlets or charging stations for electric vehicles.

Appropriates monies continuously and exempts them from lapsing appropriations requirements under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190.

Sunsets the program on July 1, 2030.
