• Appropriates $500,000 annually from the state general fund to the Department of Economic Security beginning in fiscal year 2020-2021 for a produce incentive program.

• Requires the department to develop infrastructure for a program that provides matching monies of up to $20 per SNAP-authorized site per transaction to enable SNAP enrollees to purchase Arizona-grown fruits and vegetables.

• Eligible produce includes fresh, canned, dried or frozen Arizona-grown fruits and vegetables without added sugars, fats, oils or salt, sold at farmers markets, farm stands, mobile markets, community supported agriculture sites, and retail grocery or convenience stores.
