Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-405 regarding justification for use of deadly physical force.

Adds new subsection B prohibiting a person from using deadly physical force if they leave a place of safety to actively pursue another person engaged in lawful activity.

Adds prohibition against using deadly physical force if a person pursues another after a law enforcement officer requests they retreat to a place of safety.

Preserves existing law that a person has no duty to retreat before using deadly physical force if they are in a lawful place and not engaged in unlawful activity (renumbered as subsection C).
