Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-201.01 to prohibit parents from being charged with child neglect solely for allowing children to engage in independent activities when the child's basic needs are met and the child is of sufficient age and maturity to avoid harm.

Protects parents who allow children to travel to and from school by walking, running, or bicycling, or to travel to nearby commercial or recreational facilities.

Protects parents who allow children to play outdoors or remain home unattended, provided basic safety needs are met.

Prohibits neglect charges for allowing a child to remain unattended in a vehicle, except when the child is under nine years old and conditions present risks of hyperthermia, hypothermia, or dehydration.

Officially titled the "Free Range Parenting Act."
