Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-835.02 to modify membership of the State Board on Geographic and Historic Names by requiring one of the two public members appointed by the governor to be a current or former elected tribal official.

Maintains the existing board composition of nine members including representatives from state agencies (transportation, land department, library/archives, historical society, commerce authority, economic security) and a geography department member from an Arizona university.

Preserves the existing appointment rotation among the three state universities (Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University) for the geography department representative position.

Allows current board members serving on the effective date of the act to complete their existing terms before new appointment requirements take effect.

Makes technical corrections to statute language including formatting changes for hyphenation and phrasing consistency.
