Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 11-1023 to make a technical correction to the statute addressing unauthorized release of animals.

Removes the phrase "or for" and replaces it with a comma in the list of purposes for which animals may be lawfully confined (scientific, research, commercial, educational, public event, display or exhibition).

Maintains criminal penalties of class 6 felony for intentionally releasing a lawfully confined animal without owner or custodian consent.

Preserves civil liability provisions requiring persons who release animals to pay damages for restoration costs, property damage, and experiment failure or market value loss including replacement costs, labor, and materials.
