Repeals section 41-3020.10, Arizona Revised Statutes and replaces it with section 41-3028.10 regarding the Department of Water Resources.

Establishes that the Department of Water Resources terminates on July 1, 2028, with title 45, chapter 1, article 1 and the new section repealed on January 1, 2029.

Continues the Department of Water Resources with responsibility for water management, administration of water-related programs, and stabilization of water resources according to statutory standards.

Requires the department to compile and maintain information necessary for effective management, administration and planning of water resources and programs in Arizona.

Applies sections 1 and 2 retroactively to July 1, 2020.
