Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-401 to clarify justification as a defense in criminal prosecutions.

Maintains existing provision that justification is unavailable when a person recklessly injures or kills an innocent third person while using justified force against another.

Revises language to specify that justification is a defense in prosecution for "a criminal offense" rather than "an offense pursuant to this title."

Changes statutory terminology from "defined" to "prescribed" when referring to justification under the chapter.
