Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 36-2604 to allow release of controlled substances prescription monitoring program data to persons authorized to prescribe or dispense controlled substances for evaluating an individual's fitness for duty in safety-sensitive positions as defined in section 23-493.

Adds a new category (subsection C.10) permitting prescribers/dispensers or their delegates to access prescription monitoring information specifically for employment fitness-for-duty evaluations in safety-sensitive positions.

Maintains existing confidentiality protections and procedures for prescription information collected under the controlled substances monitoring program.

Preserves all other authorized uses of prescription monitoring data, including access by medical boards, law enforcement, courts, medical examiners, and the Department of Health Services.
