AZ SB1651

Raises the minimum age for juvenile delinquency jurisdiction from 10 years old to 12 years old in Arizona.

Modifies the definition of "delinquent act" to apply only to juveniles who are 12 years of age or older.

Changes the definition of "dependent child" to raise the age threshold from 8 years old to 12 years old for children found to have committed acts that would result in delinquent or incorrigible child adjudication.

Updates section 8-307 to require children 12 years of age or older (instead of 10) to appear in juvenile court when a complaint for a delinquent act is filed.
