AZ HB2002

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 33-434.01 to correct references from "section 49-104, subsection B, paragraph 16" to "title 49, chapter 1, article 4" regarding soil remediation standards.

Requires property owners with actual knowledge that their property has been subject to soil remediation to provide written notice to purchasers prior to transferring ownership.

Exempts notice requirement when soil remediation meets residential use standards established under title 49, chapter 1, article 4.

Defines "residential use" as dwellings where residents have frequent, repeated soil contact, plus similar-use facilities such as child care centers and elementary schools.

Allows civil actions to proceed as ordinary civil actions for seller violations of the written notice requirement.
