Increases minimum experience requirement for state mine inspector from 4 years to 8 years, with at least 4 years of direct operational or management experience at a mine in Arizona.

Requires candidates to be at least 30 years of age and have direct knowledge of state and federal mining health and safety regulations.

Mandates annual continuing education on state and federal mine safety and health regulations for state mine inspectors beginning in 2023.

Requires candidates to file an affidavit with nomination papers attesting to fulfillment of all qualifications.

Prohibits state mine inspectors and deputy inspectors from serving as employees, directors, or officers of mining, milling, or smelting companies.
