• Prohibits homeowners' associations in condominiums and planned communities from restricting door-to-door political or community activity, including candidate solicitations and petition circulation, except between sunset and sunrise, and requires identification tags for participants.

• Expands the definition of "political sign" to include signs regarding condominium or community director elections, recalls, petitions, and ballot measures, in addition to signs influencing general elections.

• Adds new protections allowing unit owners and community members to peacefully assemble and use private or common elements for discussing condominium or community business, including board elections, ballot issues, and document revisions, subject to reasonable restrictions.

• Permits associations to limit flag displays to not more than two flags at once on flagpoles not exceeding the height of the member's roofline in planned communities.

• Creates a six-month forfeiture of association lien rights against properties when associations violate sign placement regulations for for-sale, for-rent, or for-lease signs.
