Amends Arizona Revised Statutes sections 38-727, 38-808, 38-842, 38-844, 38-849, and 38-890 relating to public retirement systems for ASRS, elected officials, public safety personnel, and corrections officers.

Changes required minimum required distribution age from 70.5 years to 72 years of age across multiple retirement system plans, effective January 1, 1987.

Clarifies industrial leave compensation calculation for average monthly benefit compensation by specifying employees on nonpaid or partially paid industrial leave shall be compensated based on what they would have received in their job classification.

Modifies reemployment provisions for retired members to allow return to work under specific conditions, including participation in open competitive hiring after 60 consecutive days and accepting ADA job accommodations without triggering pension suspension.

Updates terminology throughout by changing "percent" to "per cent" and "no later than" to "not later than" for technical and grammatical corrections.
