AZ HB2105

Establishes a school health program within the Department of Education to fund school nurses and school psychologists on school campuses.

Allows school districts and charter schools to apply for up to three fiscal years of funding by submitting program proposals to the Department of Education by April 15 each year.

Requires program proposals to include school health needs assessment, implementation plans with community resource relationships, service plans, effectiveness evaluation methods, confidentiality and parent notification policies, and referral procedures.

Directs the Department of Education to review proposals in cooperation with administrators, teachers, parents, and medical professionals, and to distribute funds to approved applicants based on school health needs.

Requires annual reporting to the legislature and governor on program activities and impact by November 1, appropriates unspecified general fund monies for fiscal year 2021-2022, and sets program termination date of July 1, 2031.
