Amends A.R.S. § 13-604 to allow courts to designate undesignated class 6 felonies as misdemeanors upon successful completion of probation.

During probation, undesignated offenses are treated as felony convictions for purposes of felony probation, DNA collection, firearm rights, prior conviction enhancements, impeachment, and sentence enhancement.

Courts must designate an offense as a misdemeanor upon the defendant's successful fulfillment of probation conditions, except when defendant owes victim restitution or willfully failed to pay monetary obligations.

Does not apply to defendants with two or more prior felony convictions.

Effective June 30, 2022, and applies to persons convicted on or after the effective date.
