Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 28-3223 to extend the commercial driver license (Class A, B, or C) renewal period from five years to eight years.

Applies the eight-year renewal cycle to all commercial driver license holders, including those who obtained their license on or before June 30, 2005.

Maintains department authority to administer renewal examinations including medical standards compliance verification and knowledge or road tests as required for original applicants.

Effective date: Approved by the Governor on March 23, 2021 and filed with the Secretary of State on the same date.
