Criminal cases with sentences of 30+ years require 12-person juries with unanimous verdicts.

Other criminal cases require 8-person juries with unanimous verdicts.

Civil cases require 8-person juries with 6-person concurrence (all but two) beginning January 1, 2023; until that date, judges may order either 6-person juries with 5-person concurrence or 8-person juries with 6-person concurrence.

Courts not of record use 6-person juries requiring unanimous verdicts in criminal cases and 5-person concurrence in civil cases.

Parties may waive jury trial or consent to verdicts with fewer jurors than specified by statute.
