AZ HB2210

Adds new paragraph 39 to Arizona Revised Statutes section 15-342 authorizing school district governing boards to provide food and beverages at school district events, official school functions, and trainings.

Authority to provide food and beverages is subject to Arizona Constitution Article IX, Section 7, applicable state travel and subsistence laws, gift/grant laws, and policies adopted by the Department of Education.

Allows school districts to use federal grants, state funds, local monies, and other lawful sources to fund food and beverage provisions at these events.

Clarifies discretionary powers of school governing boards by adding this new provision to the existing list of board authorities in statute.
