Expands the definition of "physician" under Arizona medical marijuana law to include nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are licensed and authorized to prescribe opioids, in addition to doctors of medicine, osteopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine, and homeopathic medicine.

Allows nurse practitioners licensed under title 32, chapter 15 with opioid prescribing authority to recommend medical marijuana to qualifying patients.

Allows physician assistants licensed under title 32, chapter 25 with opioid prescribing authority to recommend medical marijuana to qualifying patients.

Requires approval by at least three-fourths of both houses of the legislature for this amendment to take effect, as mandated by the Arizona Constitution.
