Increases appointed membership of the Arizona criminal justice commission from 14 to 18 members, with not more than 9 from the same political party.

Adds four new required member categories: a person leading an indigent defense agency, a person leading a private nonprofit juvenile justice organization, a licensed psychiatrist or psychologist with criminal justice experience, and a victim advocate.

Maintains existing requirement for representation from police chiefs, county attorneys, county sheriffs, law enforcement leaders, judges, mayors, county supervisors, and chief probation officers from counties of varying population sizes.

Clarifies that appointed members serve two-year terms ending at the convening of the first regular legislative session, with vacancies filled through the same appointment process.
