HB2268 - Schools; Total Compensation Statements

• Requires charter school governing bodies to provide each employee an annual total compensation statement broken down by category of benefit or payment.

• Charter school compensation statements must include base salary, medical benefits, retirement plans, legally required benefits, paid leave, and any other payments or benefits provided to the employee.

• Requires school district governing boards to provide each district employee an annual total compensation statement with the same categories and information as required for charter schools.

• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Title 15 to add Section 15-189 for charter schools and modify Section 15-341 regarding school district governing board powers and duties.
