Any premises where transvaginal ultrasounds are performed must be licensed pursuant to Arizona health care institution licensure requirements in Title 36, Chapter 4, Article 2.

Transvaginal ultrasounds performed on women must be performed by a health care provider who is licensed or certified under Title 32 of Arizona Revised Statutes.

The performing health care provider's scope of practice must include performing transvaginal ultrasounds.
