Community colleges must jointly conduct a study to determine the best methods for helping students learn about and apply for state and federal financial and other benefits programs.

Study must include relevant stakeholders including representatives from the governor's office, a community college president or chancellor, and an agency that distributes or provides the benefits.

Community colleges must submit a report detailing findings and recommendations to the governor, legislative leaders, and relevant committee chairs by February 1, 2022.

This section is repealed effective December 31, 2022.

The act is designated as an emergency measure operative immediately.
