Amends section 36-424 of Arizona Revised Statutes to allow the director to accept accreditation reports in lieu of compliance inspections for accredited health care institutions approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Requires that accreditation reports be valid for the entire licensure period, with the department permitted to conduct inspections during periods when accreditation reports are not valid.

Prohibits the director from accepting accreditation reports in lieu of inspections for intermediate care facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities or for health care institutions that have been subject to enforcement actions within the year preceding the annual licensing fee anniversary date.

Allows the director and designated representatives to enter health care institution premises at any reasonable time to inspect for compliance with licensing requirements when reasonable cause exists to believe non-compliance.

Requires the director to immediately report to the board of examiners of nursing care institution administrators and assisted living facility managers any information indicating an administrator's conduct may warrant disciplinary action.
