Appropriates $1,500,000 from the state general fund in each of fiscal years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 to the Department of Health Services for a family health pilot program.

Department shall distribute funds to nonprofit organizations to provide direct services, support services, social services case management and referrals to biological or adoptive parents of children under two years of age, including unborn children.

Program aims to encourage healthy childbirth, support childbirth as alternative to abortion, promote family formation, aid parenting, and increase economic self-sufficiency, with services available statewide in urban and rural areas.

Prohibits use of funds for abortion referral services and restricts distribution to entities that promote, provide referrals for, or perform abortions.

Participating nonprofit organizations must submit quarterly reports detailing client services, referrals, medical services, prenatal care, nutrition services, adoption services, and educational and employment services provided.
