All state agencies, boards, commissions, and other administrative units must ask individuals at their initial point of service: "Have you or a family member ever served in the military?"

The question must be printed on each application form used by state agencies.

State agencies must provide website addresses and contact information for the Department of Veterans' Services and the "Be Connected" program to individuals who answer affirmatively to the military service question.

The act becomes effective December 31, 2021.
