Requires each licensed health care institution to adopt a policy prohibiting retaliatory action against health professionals who make good faith reports under section 36-450.01.

Extends protection to health professionals who report to private health care accreditation organizations or governmental entities after giving the institution a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.

Prohibits third-party contractors of health care institutions from taking retaliatory action against health professionals.

Creates a rebuttable presumption that adverse actions occurring more than six months after a report are not retaliatory.

Defines "third-party contractor" as an entity contracted by a health care institution to provide health care services through hiring or contracting health professionals.
