Appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the Arizona Department of Education to distribute to public schools for planting low-biogenic volatile organic compound-emitting trees on school campuses.

Prioritizes distribution to public schools where 75% or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches under federal nutrition programs until December 31, 2021, then distributes remaining funds on first-come, first-served basis to any public school.

Limits distribution to a maximum of $10,000 per school campus.

Allows the Department of Education to require recipient schools to report on their use of funds and permits schools to partner with nonprofit organizations to plant the trees.

Makes the appropriation exempt from lapsing provisions under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190.
