HB 2692 Summary

• Amends Arizona traffic law to require defensive driving schools and traffic survival schools to include educational information about right-hand lane driving rules in their courses and materials.

• Requires the Department of Motor Vehicles to include information about right-hand lane driving requirements (driving on the right half of roadways and staying in the right-hand lane when driving slower than traffic) in examination, information, and education materials.

• Requires the Department of Motor Vehicles to include information in its educational materials about how individuals can notify the department when a vehicle title or interest is transferred or assigned.

• Effective December 31, 2021.
