Requires school districts to incorporate instruction on Native American history into existing curricula for kindergarten through grade 12 beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.

Mandates that the state board of education adopt academic standards including instruction on tribal history, sovereignty, culture, treaty rights, government, socioeconomic experiences, and current events that are historically accurate, culturally relevant, and developmentally appropriate.

Requires the state board of education to provide professional development to teachers and administrators on Native American instruction and ensure federally recognized Indian tribes in Arizona have opportunities to collaborate in developing the instruction and professional development.

Authorizes the state board of education to contract with entities to develop the instruction or provide professional development and to make monies available to tribes to support collaboration efforts.

Requires the state board of education to submit implementation status reports to the governor, legislature, and secretary of state by October 15 of 2022, 2023, and 2024, with this reporting requirement expiring December 31, 2024.
