Applies to signs placed in public rights-of-way owned or controlled by cities, towns, or counties that support or oppose candidates or ballot measures.

Requires political signs to contain the name and telephone number or website address of the candidate or campaign committee contact person.

Protects the placement of compliant signs during the period starting 60 days before a primary election and ending 15 days after the general election.
