Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1731 to establish purchasing requirements and specifications for the peace officer training equipment fund.

All training equipment purchased with fund monies must be bought through existing supply schedule contracts with the Department of Public Safety and from vendors participating in cooperative purchasing agreements with the Department of Administration.

Applicants for equipment funding must contact manufacturers to develop needs-based proposals and submit written requests with price quotes to the Department of Public Safety's chief procurement officer.

Virtual training simulators purchased with fund monies must include electronic impulse devices to simulate consequences, be preloaded with nationally recognized certified curriculum, and display interactive videos seamlessly across interconnected screens.

Appropriates $2,000,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2021-2022 to the peace officer training equipment fund.
