• Requires courts to notify sureties and bail bond agents when a defendant released on an appearance bond fails to appear and a warrant is issued.

• Mandates notification be sent by email if the surety or bail bond agent provided an email address during bail undertaking; otherwise notice must be sent to the physical address on file.

• Requires notification to occur within time limits established by Arizona Rules of Criminal Procedure.

• Effective December 31, 2021.
