Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-193 to grant the Department of Law authority to initiate, prosecute, and defend court actions related to Article XI, Section 6 of the Arizona Constitution.

Makes grammatical and stylistic updates throughout the statute, including replacing "the" with "this" when referring to the state and modernizing pronouns and verb forms.

Clarifies that the Attorney General may prosecute and defend proceedings in state courts other than the Supreme Court if deemed necessary by the Attorney General, in addition to direction by the Governor.

Maintains existing duties of the Department of Law including representation in federal court, supervision of county attorneys, and authority to institute investigations for property that may have escheated to the state.
