Removes April 25 through May 6 from the permissible sale period for consumer fireworks in counties with populations over 500,000 persons, leaving only May 20 through July 6.

Removes May 4 through May 6 from the permissible use period for consumer fireworks in counties with populations over 500,000 persons, leaving only June 24 through July 6.

Removes December 10 through January 3 from the permissible sale and use periods for consumer fireworks in both high-population and low-population counties.

Applies the same restrictions to counties with populations under 500,000 persons, except use restrictions can be temporarily prohibited during stage one or higher fire restrictions.

Updates the state-mandated signage language displayed at retail fireworks sales to reflect the new permissible sale and use dates.
