Increases the number of appointed members on the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission from 14 to 17 members, with no more than 9 from the same political party.

Expands required representation to include a person leading an indigent defense agency, a person leading a private nonprofit juvenile justice organization, and a licensed psychiatrist or psychologist with criminal justice system experience.

Maintains existing requirement for representation from police chiefs, county attorneys, sheriffs, judges, mayors, county supervisors, and probation officers from counties of varying population sizes.

Sets staggered terms for the three additional commission members: one term ending January 11, 2022, and two terms ending January 10, 2023.
